Great White Heron Mosaic Tray

If you've visited the South Carolina marshes, you've probably seen the beautiful birds that inhabit these areas. The great white heron is one of the most striking with its large size and beautiful white plumage. The mosaic tray is an homage to this majestic creature that plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem here in the Lowcountry.

Tray measures 12" in diameter and 14" from handle to handle.

The glass has been grouted then coated in a layer of epoxy to give it a durable, even surface. Avoid direct sun exposure to avoid discoloration.

One of the byproducts of stained glass are lots of random pieces of glass. I'm not one to waste anything, so I use these little pieces to create colorful mosaics.
